CRITERIA FOR REFERRAL TO CAREER TRACK
Prior to referral into Career Track, all clients candidates must exhibit, be cleared of, or completed:
- Compliance Compliant with their case plan and be stable and cleared in the areas of;
- Social-Psychological Behavior
- Temperance of Controlled SubstancesDrug and alcohol free for a period of at least six months
- Medical and Physical AbilitiesPhysically able to work and compliant with required medications
- Adult Education Participation
- Challenge to Change
- A minimum of (30) hours of Computer Classes
- The ability to commit thirty-two (32) hours per week for Career Track activities
- Be available (40) hours for job placement or a combination of work and vocational training
CRITERIA FOR ENROLLMENT IN CAREER TRACK
After referralreferral, In addition, for clients candidates to will be eligible for enrollment in Career Track, after they must:
- Complete a three (3) week thirty-two (32) hour per week Job Seeking Skills (JSS) class and will be required to;
- Use a time clock to clock to simulate the work environment
- Demonstrate minimum competency at the end of the JSS class that meets the specific research based criteria that have been developed by the San Diego Workforce Partnership.

Clients Candidates who do not demonstrate these competencies are referred back to Case Management with recommendations for obtaining those competencies for future referral consideration.
