Employer Participation and Committment

As a participating Employer in the Saint Vincent DePaul Career Track, you will be providing an opportunity to an individual to establish a career path that directly corresponds to the student's candidate's educational track.

As a participating Employer, you will be requested to:

• Identify an entry-level job or volunteer internship opportunity that has the potential to lead to the better job
• Outline a specific "career path" for the student candidate and specific performance goals and methods of assessment
• Establish critical success factors, bench marks, and milestones of achievement
• Provide work experience, skill-sets, and training towards the better job and career position
• Provide the student candidate with specific areas of study and other work related skills to transition to better job and career positions
• Regularly meet and assess students candidate’s performance, goal accomplishments, and areas of needed improvement
• Make a commitment to SVDPV and the student candidate by entering into a memorandum of understanding establishing the criteria for success
