Join government officials, business leaders, service providers, and other members of the community in a Public Education Forum to examine homelessness in San Diego. Knowledgeable professionals will share information on homelessness and participants will discuss and analyze solutions.

Four seminars will establish a framework for discussion of this often misunderstood social concern. Each seminar will build on the previous session, culminating in a half-day summit to examine the State of Homelessness in San Diego County.

Analyze current statistics on the demographics of homelessness,
discussing the trends and their impact on our community.

WHAT CHALLENGES DO THE HOMELESS BRING TO OUR COMMUNITY?

Examine the challenges homelessness presents to the citizens,
decision makers and service providers in our community.

POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS FOR RESPONDING TO HOMELESSNESS

Debate current responses to homelessness
and discuss other potential solutions.

THE STATE OF HOMELESSNESS IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY

WHEN WILL IT TAKE PLACE?
Four 90-minute seminars, each focusing on a different aspect of homelessness in San Diego, will be held on the four Thursdays in October. A half-day summit will be held on Thursday, November 2, in preparation for National Homeless Week.
