Something to Celebrate on Mother’s Day

Who:
Father Joe’s Villages invites the community to give homeless mothers and their children something special to celebrate on Sunday, May 13.

What:
A Mother’s Day drive to provide Village mothers with basic care necessities for their babies, and gifts for children to give their moms.

When/Where Donations Accepted:
• Monday, APRIL 20 through Sunday, MAY13
Collection barrels at over 100 San Diego locations of CVS Pharmacy, Curves, Great Clips, and FasTracKids.

• Monday, MAY 7 through Sunday, MAY 13, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Collection site at Father Joe’s Villages Home Office at 3350 E Street, San Diego, 92102

Why:
To defray the hundreds of thousands of dollars Father Joe’s Villages spends annually on items for mothers to use in caring for their babies.

Fast Facts:
Nationwide, families with children are the fastest growing segment of the homeless population.

Father Joe’s Villages provides shelter and services to an average of 100 mothers and
150 children a day.
